If you need some inspiration or you find yourself in a place you don’t want to be, then listening to Erik Allen’s story can help. Erik had a hellish childhood. He witnessed domestic violence, was kicked out of his home, battled addiction, owed $28,000, and was bankrupt at 21 years old. He was working for a record label, attending concerts, and, as he says, “living a rock star’s life without being a rock star.” Things were dark when a chance encounter and divine intervention changed his life. In today’s interview, Erik shares some of what he’s learned about overcoming struggles, defeating a victim’s mentality, setting and meeting goals, and what he’s doing today.
